Mr Sanchos is the Cozumel beach club people mean when they want a loud, all-you-can-eat-and-drink port day. It sits on the sheltered southwest coast at Carretera Costera Sur Km 15, it is not sold at the cruise desk, and the pass is not as all-inclusive as the headline. Here is the honest version for people deciding on a ship day.
The club (the operator spells it Mr. Sancho's) is a big west-coast day-pass operation built for cruise volume: buffet and a la carte food, an open bar, pools, hammocks, kayaks, lockers, and a stretch of leeward beach. It is a party-leaning, high-capacity product. If your group wants music, a wristband, and someone refilling the drink, this is the shape of the day. What it is not: a reef. Shore snorkeling here is not why you come. If the plan is fish and coral, that is Chankanaab or a boat snorkel. It is also not a cruise-line excursion. Carnival and Royal desks do not sell this pass. You book it yourself, then take a taxi from the pier.

Here is the part that will wreck a Sunday port call. The club's official day-pass page lists hours as Monday through Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm local time. Third-party tickets sometimes list an 8:00am start. None of those listings say Sunday. Treat Sunday as closed unless you have a confirmation for your date. Getting there from the pier, and getting back
From Puerta Maya or the other south piers it is a short ride down the coast road to Km 15. Too far to walk. Taxis queue at the official stand after you leave the terminal shops. Fares are posted zone rates, not a meter, so you are not haggling so much as reading the board and confirming it before you sit down. There is usually a taxi line at the club in the afternoon. The crush is real when every ship leaves at once. Aim to be rolling back before the 3:00pm pile-up, and keep a full hour of buffer against all aboard.
